Countdown To 10th WCC - Being Prepared is Not an Option
Kuala Lumpur 24 June 2010 – 'More initiatives from the public sector to promote business continuity management'. That is the tune that Organiser BCM Institute is hoping more organisations will be singing along to in the upcoming World Continuity Congress (WCC). Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) practitioners will indeed be welcoming these growth measures as well as special Guest-of-Honour, Yang Berhormat Tuan Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, who will be celebrating a decade of BC-DR Thought Leadership during the conference kickoff on 5th July. The WCC conference will be followed by masterclasses till the 9th July.
In the wake of global disasters, nothing befits the congress theme better than “Being Prepared Is Not An Option”. A timely event to address the growing interest in the implementation of business continuity processes in various industries, the upcoming WCC comes with a one-day series of presentations, case studies, workshops subsequently followed by the optional in-depth four-day master class sessions.

BCM will also be offering the BCM-5000 (Advanced level BCM) and DRP-300 (Intermediate IT DR) courses in Malaysia for those who may not have the opportunity to attend the course in their home country. These courses will lead to the Business Continuity certified Expert (BCCE) and Disaster recovery Certified Specialist (DRCS) respectively.
