Meet The Experts – 05 December 2014

Ebola, the virus epidemic from West Africa, has been spreading steadily from its first case in December 2013. Although a recent Straits Times article noted that Singapore is at low risk of importing the epidemic and that Singapore’s Parliament has imposed entry visas on Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone nationals, infectious diseases, like Ebola, are known to mutate in different forms.

Are you and your organisation ready against an infectious disease epidemic?

This half day complimentary seminar will discuss on how you could better prepare and protect your organisation against infectious diseases. The seminar would take you through the thought processes on what you should be considering when planning to protect your organisations against outbreaks of these diseases. You will also be updated on current efforts done by multilateral institutions and how this would affect your organisation.

This educational Friday afternoon seminar will also allow you to network with other like minded stakeholders and perhaps learn from each other the current trends in your industry as well.

“Too many CEO’s play ostrich about the possibility of a recall,” said Jonathan Bernstein, president of national consultancy Bernstein Crisis Management and editor of “Crisis Manager,” an international email newsletter. “They wait until the recall is required and then try to figure out what to do, resulting in additional risk for consumers and the company’s reputation.”
