keynote panel
BCM Institute once again successfully held the annual World Continuity Congress (WCC) Malaysia 2014 in the Warisan Ballroom at the Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside on 9th September 2014.

The conference theme is ‘Securing Your Organization Against Future Disasters And Crises at’, and keynote speakers Prof. Kenji Watanabe (Professor, Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan), Bhakorn Vanuptikul (Executive Vice President, Bangkok Bank Thailand) and Stelios Aronis (Head of Group BCM Office, Alpha Bank, Greece) together with none other than the President of BCM Institute himself, Dr Goh Moh Heng addressed the delegates and lead discussions on how to prepare for, respond to and recover from a major disaster, how to cope with resulting disruptions and how a BCMS was implemented.

BCM Institute is also proud to announce the launch of its fully-featured website www.bcm-institute.org. The new website and brand refresh are more closely aligned with the company’s strategic vision for growth and expansion over the coming years, and beyond and has extensive content including a series of newly launched courses, upcoming events and more. The goal in launching this new website is to provide one more access point and online resource for companies and individuals to learn more about our products and services.

Despite having the conference outside of city centre, most of the delegates have enjoyed and mentioned that Putrajaya Pullman is a good place for this congress. Responses from the delegates are overwhelming with the panel of speakers well versed in the topics they are delivering and able to share life experience which is of good assistance and knowledge for attendees.

To wrap up our WCC 2014, we can say that WCC Malaysia has been a successful conference for all parties involved. We would like to thank our sponsors, exhibitors and participants for the on-going support and contributions to the success of WCC MY 2014.
