Course Description | This 2 Day intermediate level course is suitable for Middle Management, Department Representatives, Business Unit BCM Coordinators and BC/DR Managers who are tasked to update their BCM plan. Participants will acquire the essential skills and knowledge of risk analysis and review, business impact analysis, testing and exercising, and keeping the plans current for their business units within the organization. This course will also introduce the essential steps of developing business continuity and disaster recovery strategies, design and implementation of BC plans, preparing and conducting awareness and training program. A 2.5 hours Qualifying Crisis Management Certified Specialist (CMCS) examination forms part of the course as participants who pass the exam and has at least 2 years of Crisis Management (CM) will be able to qualify to apply for the CMCS certification. | This 2 Day advanced level course is suitable for business continuity managers and practitioners that are tasked to drive corporate level BCM programmes. The concepts and practices taught in the class will assist the participants with the relevant skills and knowledge needed to implement and maintain the organisation wide BCM programs. It will also teach participants on how to communicate the organisations BCM needs with management.
Do note that the pre requisite for the class is the completion of the BCM-300: ISO 22301 BCMS Implementer course. The 3.5 hours Qualifying Business Continuity Certified Expert (BCCE) examination forms part of the course as participants who pass the exam and has at least 3 years of Business Continuity (BC) will be able to qualify to apply for the BCCE certification. Participants for this masterclass* would be able to gain complimentary access to the World Continuity Congress Singapore 2015 on 19 May 2015. | This 4 day class is suitable for both newly appointed BCM managers with no BCM background as well as seasoned practitioners. It will take them through the fundamental concepts of BCM right, familiarisation of BCM templates with hands on practice on these templates right up to understanding the best tests to conduct for the different BCM maturity stages.
The course will also introduce the essential steps of developing business continuity and disaster recovery strategies, design and implementation of BC plans, preparing and conducting awareness and training programmes.
